Syntellect Releases CT Connect 7.6

PHOENIX – September 21, 2010 – Syntellect, Inc., an industry leader in contact center and self-service technology, announced today the release of Syntellect CT Connect Version 7.6, further strengthening its position as the most used CTI middleware in the world.

CT Connect 7.6, developed in close cooperation with Syntellect’s customers and partners to better serve the CTI needs of the end user, adds additional PBX switch support while also including new releases of PBX switches previously supported. The added and updated switches include:

- ShoreTel Voice Switch Family
- Mitel Communications Director and Mitel 3300 ICP
- Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise Communication Server
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)
- Support for newer releases of the Avaya Aura Communication Manager and Avaya Aura Application Enablement Services
- Support of newer Asterisk IP PBX systems
- Multidomain/Harmonized mode on the Siemens HiPath 4000 Converged Communications Server

Support for operating environments has also been enhanced, and the CT Connect 7.6 server component now supports the Windows Server 2008 R2 operating system, as well as virtual environments like VM Ware ESX and Microsoft Virtual Server. The client component for CT Connect now supports Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008.
