Three Dialogic® Diva® IP Software products offer an excellent path from TDM to IP technology. These products can provide flexibility and reduce customer effort when moving to IP:

Dialogic® Diva® softIP for SIP Software is a "virtual IP media board," which replaces a traditional TDM telephony board (for example, a Diva PRI/E1-30 PCIe board). In most cases, an application, written with APIs supported by Diva Media Boards, will not need to be modified in order to run with softIP. Also when a hybrid solution is needed, a Diva Media Board can be used by the same appication in parallel with softIP. Only when IP-specific parameters are required (for example. an email address in the "INVITE" message) will the application need to be modified in order to extract the email address and use it.

Dialogic® Diva® SDK forDialogic® Host Media Processing (HMP) Software puts a Diva API on top of Dialogic HMP Software. In addition to the Global Call and R4 APIs used by Dialogic HMP Software, the developer can use one of the three Diva APIs. This is especially useful with the .NET API. (Support for Dialogic HMP Software in the Diva SDK is currently available for Windows only; Linux support is planned for July 2009.)

Dialogic® Diva® SIPcontrol™ Software "upgrades" a Diva Media Board to a VoIP and FoIP gateway and allows an IP application to access a traditional TDM network. SIPcontrol can run on the same server as the IP application, or it can run on a separate server.
